Colleen Vidockler

Colleen is a curd nerd whose love for eating cheese is only matched by her love for talking about it and sharing that love with others. Behind The Rind grew naturally, much like cheese rinds 😊, from her love of cheese, experiences learning and volunteering at Murray’s Cheese Shop in NYC. Family and friends quickly started asking her to bring the cheese plate to parties and to explain what was chosen and why. It was an easy step to being asked to plan cheese nights with pairings for small groups. While many years in the making, Behind The Rind officially launched in the fall of 2019. 

Colleen met Talia through their nail salon and the rest was history. They share many interests and decided to start the From Apples To Fromage podcast after a hot debate on whether they should start a podcast on cider and cheese or the real housewives.

Talia Haykin

Until meeting Daniel, Talia had little knowledge of cider. It was limited to farm stands and the occasional “that looks good” on liquor store shelves. Together with Daniel, Talia learned more about apple varieties and the rich history of apples and hard cider in the United States. As they worked to grow their family, they also grew in their love for cider.
